Objective
	To provide financial assistance for sight-related equipment needs of individuals identified and sponsored by a LIONS CLUB.

Scope
	The amount of funding will depend upon the proven needs of the individual. The Sight Fund will make funds available to a maximum of 25% of the equipment or project cost. the Lions of Alberta Foundation will disburse no funding until all funds required are in place and approved by the foundation.

Applications
	Forms will be available from any Director of the Foundation. Forms can also be found on this website under publications tab. Upon completion of the applications, return to the President of the Foundation for the Executive committee to review and make recommendation. The committee consists of the Executive Officers and if required, two other directors.

Procedure for approval
	Literature, budgets and verification that funds are available, with any other documentation to support the need, must accompany the application.

Reimbursement
	Upon payment for the equipment, forward an original or copy of the invoice, marked "PAID" to the Foundation Treasurer, who with then reimburse our portion of the project.
